You stared into a mirror and sighed unhappily.
"Ugly," you muttered, "I'm ugly. I'll never be pretty like Mama is," you bitterly added. You glared at yourself in the mirror. You never thought you were beautiful, not even close to being acceptable. Your mom, Françoise, was gorgeous. Her silky brunette hair and amethyst eyes, were simply beautiful, compared to your ugly (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes. At least, that's what you thought. You thought you were the most ugly thing on Earth. Once more, you sighed in discontent. 'Why is Mama so pretty?' you thought with a very displeased look on your face, 'she's the eight wonder of the world, she can make anybody fall for her! It's not fair!' you started to cry. With a thud, you landed on your knees, your face buried in your hands, you started to sob.
----
Click, click, click. The clicking of heels could be heard. Knowing them to be your mother's you ignored the fact that they were coming closer to you.
"Cerise?" your mom called, using her little nickname for you, "Mon cerise? Where are you?" she called once more, obviously worried that you had done something bad to yourself. "Mon cerise." She called yet again, but in a firmer tone. You, on the other hand, just continued sobbing, hoping she wouldn't hear. Françoise walked up to your bedroom door and knocked. "(Y/N), are you alright?"
"No." was your straightforward, blunt, and rude answer to her question. "Not. Even. Close." you snapped at the door. The door opened.
"Why isn't my lovely daughter alright?" she asked you.
"I'm not 'lovely'. I'm ugly." you hung your head as tears continued to fall down your face. "The only way I can be pretty is if I could be like you..." you finished. Your mother frowned at your statement.
"No, you're not ugly," she said, kneeling down next to you, "you're a beauty in my eyes~" You shook your head. "Even Carmen and Maria say so. Don't say you don't believe it, because you know it's true." She was right, you had heard Carmen and Maria say you were beautiful.
"How am I beautiful?" you asked her, a bit bluntly. François sighed.
"Well, let's see...Your (E/C) eyes are glistening gemstones-"
"You mean like yours?" you cut in.
"Oui, like mine. Now where was I...Ah yes. Your pretty (H/C) hair is as soft as silk -like mine-, and, you just remind me of a porcelain doll." A porcelain doll, you thought. You glanced up, towards the shelf that sat right on top of a windowsill. There stood a porcelain doll that looked like you. You thought it was gorgeous. 'Hmm, so that's how I look to Mama?'
"Oui," she interrupted your trail of thoughts, "that's what I think you to look like, only much prettier~"

Romania x Reader How Could You?
Your lungs burned and your legs ached as you ran away from the Axis soldiers. You could hear the soldiers closely creep in behind you. You felt your legs giving away and turning into jelly as you kept running back to your base. You were pushing yourself way past your limits, but you also didn't want to get caught by the Axis Power.
You were getting closer to your base which gave you a big relief. Oh, and there was your older brother, Author, but during war he has told you to call him England. As his younger sister you were called London, since you both couldn't be called England and he had beat you to the

I left class with my usual friend walking right by my side. We barely left class. Today at the end of class Mrs. Davis said that this would be her last week teaching us since she had to go for her maternity leave. Her baby was going to be born! Must be really exciting. Shawn asked her ‘where do babies come from?’ and then she never told us. Strange.
“I kinda know where babies come from.”Nathalie said.
“Where?”I ask.
“Well the baby is her stomach so I think…the stomach?”Nathalie says.
I guess that makes sense.”I said pulling

This was amazing! I loved it so much, it was so well written! There were a few small errors here and there, but barely noticeable. I love how this was so well written, it was very poetic! The whole idea you used too was amazing, I love the fact that you used an idea that everyone can relate too. We're always worrying about if we look ugly or pretty, then using one of the most beautiful Nyo versions in Hetalia (to me that is) to tell reader-chan she's beautiful was a great idea. Great job again, I hope to read more of your amazing work! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>
